Tremblant Architectural Construction Contest

This Tremblant teambuildig activity is a 3-dimensional construction challenge involving teamwork and cooperation. Teams will be assigned identical wooden blocks of different shapes to build 3-dimensional structures from a basic image.

The first stages of this Tremblant group activity help teams understand the shapes and basic positioning of the blocks to provide for solid structures and various designs. In the end, teams will be capable of building complex structures. Ideal as a corporate group activity.

Tremblant Sled Construction and Race

When was the last time you built a sled?

Using Ikea-style plans, participants work in teams with turn-of-the-century tools, mallets and wood pegs. To construct a sled in the allotted time is not as easy as it looks.

 Once the sleds are ready to go, an old-fashioned downhill race begins. Distance is the goal! So take care in your construction to avoid disintegration on the slope.

Tremblant Raft Building

A competitive and fun challenge: using various building materials, teams are challenged to building a raft that stays afloat and moves swiftly in the water. Teams have a specific budget and need to use strategy and wit to acquire the ideal building material at the General Store to assemble the most efficient raft. When all rafts are ready, they are tested on the water and the race begins! Multiple trials can be performed within the time frame of this group activity.
