Apprentice-Falconer Walk

Our Mont Tremblant Falcons activity, the apprentice falconer, takes place right on Tremblant resort. Accompanied by a falconer and a trained raptor (a Harris Hawk), the apprentice will get to experience the thrill of calling a bird of prey to their gloved hand. The falconer will introduce the apprentice to the basics of  falconry including:

• The characteristics of birds of prey,
• The historical and modern importance of falconry,
• Falconry equipment,
• Bird handling and free-flight.

Equipped with a glove, a falconry bag and food for the hawk, each apprentice will call the raptor to his or her glove several times. A must for the animal lovers on your Trembant vacations!

You can share this Mont Tremblant Falcons experience with your family or friends with this activity done in private groups of 6 participants maximum.
