On this tour, adults will usually, but not always, have a chance to drive their own dog sled. 1 driver and 1 or 2 passengers per sled. Passengers and drivers can switch places throughout the excursion. Children may be required to ride as passengers on the guides' sleds or ride on parents sled. Children over 7 yrs old might have the chance to drive with a guide. Guides accompany you on all excursions and will decide seating. If you have a particular seating request please make it known to your guide when you arrive. We will be on the trail for approximately 50 minutes.
At the halfway point, you will have a chance to take pictures, and the driver and passenger may change places in the dogsled.
After riding through varied terrain of valley and mountain trails with hills and descents, you will be invited into a Yurt to enjoy hot chocolate or coffee, and cookies. A yurt is a large and comfortable heated mongolian-style tent. Learn about the world of doglsedding, visit the kennel and maybe even hold some puppies (seasonal).
