MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE - The Operator
This company has operated in Iles-de-la-Madeleine
for over 10 years and moved its dogs and sleds here to provide mountain
excursions in the heart of the Laurentians. You will drive
your own dogsled on wooded trails with steep climbs and exciting
descents that take you over a frozen lake with views of the northern
side of Tremblant ski resort. 3rd year in Tremblant. 11th
year of operation.

During the activity, you may drive your own dog
sled. 1 driver and 1 or 2 passengers per sled. Passengers and drivers
can switch places throughout the excursion. There are accompanying
guides on all excursions.
 
MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE - The Activity
The dogsledding activity begins with a warm welcome
by the musher and his crew. Next, is an introduction to driving
the dog sled with demonstrations that will prepare you to drive
your own.
Children will be seated with a parent (children over 7 years old
may be able to drive the dogsled with the guide).
At the halfway point, you will have a chance to take pictures,
and the driver and passenger may change places in the dogsled.
After a sensational downhill ride with a view of
the ski slopes of Mont Tremblant, you will be invited
into a wooden, heated Yurt to enjoy hot chocolate or coffee, and
cookies. A yurt is a large and comfortable heated mongolian-style
tent. Learn about the world of doglsedding, visit the kennel and
maybe even hold some puppies.

*For customers who choose to reserve in advance, directions

by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when
you reserve at The Tremblant Activity Centre.

activity requires some physical exertion. Occasionally, drivers
need to run alongside the sled to help the dogs.

Youth
rates apply to 3 to 11 years olds, max 90 lbs/40kg. Child rates
apply to children under 3 years old. No minimum age. Rates are
plus taxes and 2% resort royalties and may be subject to change
without notice. |
