THE
OPERATOR - Mountain adventure
Experience
a dogsledding adventure with Alaskan Huskies. This company
participates in dogsledding races annually. These dogs, trained
all year long, will lead you on a discovery of the Laurentian
mountains. 15th year of operation.
A
guide accompanies each sled as the driver. You can share the
mushing duties with your guide or enjoy the mountain ride
as a passenger. Each sled can hold up to 3 passengers. The
sleds used are high-tech and very comfortable. A sled tent
will protect you from the wind and snow.

Tour: This 1-hour dogsledding ride covers
approximately 10 kilometers of groomed trails, over frozen
lakes and through a snow-laden forest. This shorter ride is
great to discover the activity and to bring along younger
kids who will be bundle up in the sled.

Log
cabin tour: A 2-hour dogsledding

Tepee-cal
Tour: Combine with a dogsled ride,
you will visit a Naskapi, an authentic reindeer-skin winter
tipi where you can taste pemmican (sweetened, smoked and dried
bison meat) while you warm up.
You
will then visit the first Athabascan Bison Sanctuary in Québec,
a reserve created to protect this endangered species.

Ice fishing tour:
Your introduction to ice fishing takes place in the heart
of the Havre des Sources Valley, following a 2-hour dogsledding
ride. An ice fishing pro will teach the fundamentals of this
fascinating sport. You will be fishing for rainbow and speckled

Ride across a frozen lake, over a maple tree mountain and
through beaver habitat during this 5-hour activity. You wil
have plenny of time to familiarize yourself with the dogs
