Kayak initiation
Learn the fundamentals of
kayaking while taking on the rapids of the Rouge River.
Whether you are a novice or already have river miles
under your belt, we will help you become an accomplished
kayaker. This one-day program initiates individuals
or groups into the exciting world of whitewater kayaking.
After a short dry land orientation we prepare the boats
and head for the river, where we practice basic manoeuvres
in calm water then in moving water.
