Description

Our Mont Tremblant snowmobile rentals are for intermediate or advanced riders who have snowmobiled before or are used to driving a motorcycle or ATV.

Your snowmobile rental will start with 15 minute briefing session with the snowmobile where we will make sure you know the proper techniques for breaking, turning and handling the snowmobile in various conditions.

Following the briefing, you’ll drive your Bombardier Ace Expedition Sport (600 and 900 cc) snowmobile through the beautiful scenery of the Laurentian mountains and over the snow-covered trails of the vast snowmobile network where you can even cross over a frozen lake. We offer 3h or 6h30 rentals.

Our base is 35 minutes from Tremblant Ski Resort*. Situated about a 1h30 drive from Montreal and approximately a 2-hour drive from Ottawa.

3h or 6h30 plus 15 minutes of briefing instructions.

For guests who choose to reserve in advance (recommended, click the “reserve” button above), directions to meeting points will be provided in your reservation by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when you reserve at The Activity Centre.

Included for the 3 hour and 6h30 rentals:
Snowmobile, snowmobile suit, mitts, balaclava, helmet, snow boots and trail access.
NOT included: Gas.

Please note

For intermediate and advanced drivers who have snowmobiled before or are used to driving a motorcycle or ATV. Drivers and passengers (with adequate experience) can switch places during the ride. No beginner drivers.

Recommended personal items to bring: thermal undergarments, wool socks, wool or polar fleece sweater, neck warmer.

Conditions

Drivers must be 21yrs + and have a valid driver’s license in hand throughout the activity (copy and photo not accepted) as well as a credit card for refundable security deposit ($2500+ tx) (MC and Visa). Must also have a cell phone. Passengers min. 10yrs + 54”/137cm required. No expectant mothers.

Gas will need to be paid for onsite.

Late fees will apply ($35 per 30 minutes for the first hour and $100 plus taxes per supplemental hour).
Breakdown emergency service : $100 plus taxes per hour.

FAQ

When should I reserve?

This is a very popular activity. Reservations for weekends, Christmas vacations and spring break should be made 1 or 2 weeks in advance. For any other time, reservations should be made a few days in advance.

Is the equipment provided?

Yes all equipment is provided. Helmet, mitts, snow boots, snowsuit, trail access, gas, insurance and guide.

Is it dangerous?

There is an element of risk in all outdoor activities. Snowmobiles can go as fast as cars. After a security briefing, you will drive the snowmobile yourself if you have signed up as a driver. This means YOU control the speed. Risks are minimized by running the excursions under the supervision of professional guides. The group always follows guides on dedicated snowmobile trails. It is important to follow the instructions that are given at the beginning of the ride.
