Dog sledding is a sport. Participants will be active during the ride.
Mush! On our Tremblant dog sledding experience near Mont-Tremblant you will meet at the reception where you can warm up next to the fireplace before heading to the kennel where 150 eager dogs will be awaiting your arrival.
Then, before hitting the trail, with the help of your guide, you will harness the huskies, learn your dogs’ names, and receive some simple instructions on how to drive a team.
Our guides will decide positions on the sleds. (If you have a particular position request please make it known to our guide when you arrive). There will be one driver and one or two passengers per sled. Adults will usually, but not always, drive their own dog sled with an adult passenger. Passengers and drivers can switch places half way through the excursion. Children may be required to ride as passengers on the guides’ sleds or ride on parents sled.
Our Tremblant forest dogsledding tour takes you over hilly forest trails and includes a stop in a warm cabin with hot chocolate and cookies. We are on the trail for about 1 hour.
Upon return, you can visit the kennel and pet the dogs and the puppies (seasonal). A light lunch is served at our restaurant style lodge before your departure (N/A during COVID). You can take this time to talk with the guides and learn more about the world of dogsledding.
