Comments:  It was truly wonderful. The guide was super knowledgeable and a really good riding instructor. I’ve never had an experience like that where I really learned more about writing. She spent a lot of time matching us to the horses based on riding ability and the horses personalities. It was really cool. And of course the area is beautiful and seen the bison was really fun. And then we got to hang out with the sled dogs too. Really wonderful afternoon.

Comments:  Fantastic experience. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable extremely friendly, super helpful and insured we all had a great time. She was also very safety conscious. She really enjoys her job and it shows in how she interacts with the horses and the guests. It made for an amazing experience.

Comments:  The guide herself was very friendly and professional. The only complaint was that the guide ended up speaking with the other guest for 90% of the entire trip in French (we are not fluent so we had no idea what they were talking about). I understand the guide explained she wasn't too comfortable with English (although she seemed completely fine with her English in our opinion), but I feel like there should be some effort to speak to all guests throughout the ride and no focus on one guest. Secondly the ride was advertised to possibly view bison (I understand there's no guarantee since the bison may or may not be in the fenced area), but it's so short of a stretch of path to view the fenced-in land along the path that I did not feel it was even worth the premium that we paid for it. The guide took one moment just to look and say no bison were present and we completely moved on from the area.

Thank you for your comments. Our guide took good note of your review and will take care to pay attention to every participant. It is important that every guest gets the same experience. 

Regarding our bison trail, the price is based on the duration of the ride and not on whether the bisons are visible. However, we invite our guests who didn't have the chance to see bisons to join the guided visit for free. Please let us know if you didn't get that invitation.

Comments:  It was beautiful. The operator was so friendly and \\r\\nexplained everything. Totally enjoyed our experience. Everyone was great. And the hot chocolate was nice after our ride. We also were lucky to to dogsledding the next dog. Loved it I whated to book that. But was told it didn\\\'t start till Dec. But it was snow and cold the day we were there. So we lucked out. Comments:  The couple that runs the ranch we went to were very nice and we really enjoyed our time there. They were so generous and helpful, Claudia made the trip interesting and relaxing. At first i was concerned because it was the 'back-up' ranch when their first choice is full, but we loved it there. We had so many great experiences at Mt. Tremblant and this was definitely one of the highlights.

Comments:  The operator was very good with people and the horses. I had my 3 sons with me and she was considerate and read them well to choose an appropriate horse for them and her instructions were very clear. She made the ride fun and informative, she made us feel like we were riding with a friend!! We have already recommended it to friends and will definitely do it again!!

Comments:  The experience was horrible. First my two daughters were not offered to wear helmet. Then I was terrified to learn that one of my daughters fell off from the horse because she was riding on a horse with NO saddle. This is unacceptable as the Guide should know better that it is inappropriate for an inexperience rider. Luckily she did not get hurt seriously, just bruises and scratches on the legs and arms. Right after she fell, the Guide switched horse with her. I can't believe that the Guide was riding a horse with the saddle and let the customer to ride without one!

Management Response:

Thanks for the feedback. Helmets are not mandatory, or even common practice, for riding in Quebec. We have them available on request. The guide has told us that: She was given the most gentle horse, ideal for children. This horse was saddled with what is called a "carpet saddle", used if a horse has a saddle sore, which was the case, and should not be any less safe than a regular hard saddle. A proper carpet saddle is attached to the horse the same way as a regular saddle, and has stirrups.

Comments:  I went horseback riding with mont tremblant before and it was a totally different location. And at the time I suggested we do the 1.5 hr trail ride thinking we would end up at the other place. It was fun because it was my friends first time going horseback riding but thought the 1.5 hr ride long.

Comments:  There was a language barrier with the person running the riding stable, but not insurmountable. The worst part was we chose the bison trail for two reasons - length of ride and seeing bison. The ride was an hour rather than an hour and a half as claimed. Our view of bison was seeing the rear of one far away over a ridge. The ride itself was fine, but not much scenery, and the location was far. During the week, I saw other stables much closer.

Thanks for your comments. The ride is really 90 minutes. It was shorter because you arrived late and there were customers booked right after you that we couldn't keep waiting (by getting back late).

There are 3 other commercial stables in the area. The rest are private. Only one of the other meets our standards. It is brand new and we have just completed our accreditation process with this stable. We will be offerring excursions there starting this winter.

Comments:  Had such a great time! The horses were very gently and kind. Our guide was amazing. She was really helpful and friendly. My sister and I will be coming back again next year!! If we are in the area in the winter we may try dog sledding with them as well!

Comments:  We paid for the 1.5 hour ride. We were only on the horses for 1 hour. I asked the guide and he said we did the 1.5 hour ride. I timed it. For the extra money we paid for the 1.5 hour ride (there is a 1 hour trip) I felt ripped off.

Comments:  For paying 100$ per pesron pretty much they could of brought us on nicer trails for that price but they brought us threw rocks and thick mud spots that are not good for horses to walk threw, but thats not the part that bugged me its that they do not take care of there animals at all especially there dogs that are all tied up outside. And they run there horses over and over again they never get a break.

Comments:  We arrived early and so we started out ride early. Our guides were very friendly and professional. The only surprise was that we were not given riding hats. I think that we were riding longer than the 1 1/2 hrs that we had paid for. This was a great experience. Thank you.

Comments:  My friend and I had not been on horses in 20 years, so we thought we would get a bit of instruction. We arrived, signed a waiver, were put on the horses and as they were leaving the ranch one guy thought to tell me how to make the horse go right or left. There was no preparation. It felt like we were on an assembly line and they were rushing us through. When we finished they got us off our horses and walked away.

Comments:  We did both the horseback riding (with Guy at the place with the red horse)--he is a great guide and friendly person. This is our second time in 4 years vacationing in Tremblant and both times we went horse riding here and love it. This year we also tried dog sledding for the first time and it was awesome--the staff was great and it was so much fun. I will do it again next time we visit.
