FAQ

Is the activity safe?

There is an element of risk in all outdoor activities. You are 25 to 75 feet up in the trees. The risk is minimized and here is how: During the briefing on the ground, you are taught how to manipulate and handle equipment properly. You are taught and given the time to practice with an experienced operator before going up into the trees. You will be monitored by a qualified operator. You are provided with two safety slings that you attach to a steel cable.

Can anyone do this activity?

Yes, as long as you can move easily and that you are ready for some physical and balance challenges. If you can climb a ladder you should have no problem.

Can I stop if I am too scared?

The activity is built in several different stages where you come to the ground before moving on to the next one. You can decide to finish after any of the courses. Note that there is no refund.

Can I accompany a friend/family member without doing the activity and without paying ?

Yes, an open path follows the courses. You can be the videographer.

How should I dress?

- Dress as thought you were going on a hike. Wear flat soled shoes and comfortable outdoor clothing;
- NO SANDALS;
- Remove jewellery and scarves that could get caught;
- Tie back your hair and tie on your glasses
-If you want to bring something like a camera or water, put it in a backpack as you will need both hands free.

I'm coming with young children but I want to do the full Course. Can I leave them alone on their course?

Before June 21: Children on the Children's course must be accompanied by an adult on the ground. From June 22: Children on the Children's course must be accompanied by an adult, on the ground or participating in the full course. Both courses start at the same spot and come back to the same spot. Those doing the family course can do it a second time with the same ticket…finishing at about the same time as those doing the full course.

What is the best time to come?

The times that are less busy are between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. and between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Rain, unless very heavy, doesn't keep you from doing the activity, as the course is protected by the foliage.

Do operators accompany us on the course?

No. When you arrive, we give you the equipment and then you attend a briefing session and practice on the ground (about 10 minutes). Only then can you go on the course. Operators follow the participants along the courses on a path on the ground.

Can my kids go on their own?

For the full course:
kids 15 and under MUST be accompanied by a participating adult 18 or over. The reason for this is that an adult must be up in the trees with them to help. Since the adult is participating they must pay. However, one adult can accompany several children

For the kids course:
Before June 21: Children on the Children's course must be accompanied by an adult on the ground. From June 22: Children on the Children's course must be accompanied by an adult, on the ground or participating in the full course. Both courses start at the same spot and come back to the same spot. Those doing the family course can do it a second time with the same ticket…finishing at about the same time as those doing the full course.
