Safety, ethics, and animal health information

Our dogsled operations are required by contract to comply with provincial and
federal regulations and are checked regularly. We have a MAPAQ (Ministère de
l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec) permits in order
to operate. MAPAQ inspects kennels regularly to insure conformity with respect to safety,
health and well-being of the dogs. Our dogs are also
followed regularly by a veterinarian.

We are not a member of any auto-regulating professional association and consequently do not formally commit to any code of ethics. We do have a kennel permit issued by the Ministere d’Agriculture, Pecheries, et Alimentation.
