Took the dogsledding tour out at Tremblant last Saturday morning and it was honestly the highlight of the whole trip up north. The guides let us each handle our own team of huskies for a stretch of the trail, and watching the steam rise off the dogs' backs against the snowy pines was something else. Parking right at the base lot was easy even though we showed up close to the 10am slot, and the staff took the time to explain the commands before we ever touched the sled. Already telling coworkers back in the city they need to book this before the season gets too packed.

Took the kids out last Friday evening right before sunset and the light on the snow through the pines was honestly worth the trip alone. The guide running our sled, a local guy named Mathieu, clearly knew every dog by name and personality and made sure everyone got a turn standing on the runners. Parking right at the base lot was easy even with a decent crowd that evening, which I didn't expect for a Friday. Hot chocolate waiting at the end was a small touch but it's the kind of detail that makes a place feel well run rather than just another tourist stop.

Took the family out a couple days ago and the dogs were practically howling with excitement before we even got harnessed up, which set the tone for the whole run. The trail winds through some seriously quiet snow-covered pine stands, and there's a stretch near the halfway point where you break out onto an open ridge with a great view back toward the resort. Parking right at the base lot was easy even on a busy Saturday morning, and they had hot chocolate waiting when we got back, which after an hour in that cold was exactly what we needed.

Took the team out for a weeknight run and the dogs were clearly just as pumped as we were, you could feel it the second we got near the kennels. The guide running our sled knew every dog by name and kept pointing out the trail views over the valley once the sun started dropping, which honestly made the whole thing feel way more special than I expected. Parking right at the lot made it easy to show up last minute after work without any hassle. Already telling coworkers they need to book an evening slot instead of the daytime one, the quiet and the cold air after dark just hits different.

Took the dogs out on a Tuesday evening with a couple of buddies and it was honestly one of the better spontaneous plans we've made this year. The guide who harnessed our team clearly knew every dog by name and personality, which made the whole thing feel way less like a tourist thing and more like we were in on something real. Gliding through the trail just as the sun was dropping behind the mountain was unreal, nobody said a word for a good five minutes. Parking right next to the kennels made it easy, and we were still back in town in time for a late dinner, so easily worth doing again on a weeknight when it's less busy.

It was an amazing once-in-a lifetime experience!

We really enjoyed the dogs and dog sledding. We have done it twice before in other locations. Liked seeing some of the dogs free.
The ice fishing did not happen as our booking that morning was too late notice.
We loved the fondue and seeing the bison was amazing.
We were fortunate that Lisa was available to take us there as it is a walk and she fed them. She is excellent for survival course as well.
It is a drive ( we were self drive ). But worth it.

Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The activity encompassed a good length activity, a cozy break half way through and a super fun activity. There is some physicality to it but only enough to make it exciting. The dogs were amazing, and the views were pretty.

Dogsledding at Upper Laurentians was amazing. Guides happy & helpful. Dogs were super lovable & the views were so pretty. Both the experience in the sled & as a co-pilot were so fun. Would recommend. Upset with Mont Tremblant Activity Center because the switched reservation at last minute (fine) but OMITTED my husband even when I was extremely clear that there were 2 adults & 2 children. They even charged me for my husband but didn’t communicate that to dogsledding company nor myself. So he missed out. 😭

It was just AMAZING! Everyone who wants to do such an activity, you cannot go wrong with this Provider! The dogs are in great shape and everyone working with them is so helpful, friendly and most important, loves what they do and love the dogs! It was an amazing morning and we will definitely return for round 2! All the best to the whole team that work there and a lot of hugs to all the great and lovely dogs that made our day unforgettable! I loved to see new dogs born 2022 and working hard! I was a warm day and they did it!

Best part of our trip. We thought it would be a leisure cruise but it's definitely more of a thrill ride. We had heavy snow from a storm, and a sled in front of us went off the track and crashed into a tree. They have bumpers so everyone was fine. Leaning into the turns helps.

We had a great time at Alaskan Adventure. It was the first time we had experienced sled dogs. Very nice welcome of the supervisors and handlers dogs, very attentive. We learned how the dogs were chosen, that we led to the sled, then after the indications of the handlers we went for a walk under beautiful weather. We drove the sled each in turn, small break halfway with a delicious hot chocolate. At the end of the walk, we were able to feed the dogs and go to the puppies of 3 months and a half and pet the other dogs, adorable! They are very soft and cuddly. Finally, a hot soup was offered. We recommend 100% and hope to return during a future stay!

Dog sledding was incredible, we had so much fun!! We paid extra to purchase the photos the photographer took, and the spend was well worth it. We switched drivers/passengers at the hot cocoa stop, which we thought would be the midway point, however, it felt closer to the end than the middle. We all agree, we would do this activity again and my friends plan to bring their children next winter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a blast. Belly laughed during it and been giggling all day. Jack (the dog), superstar!
Definitely a check on the bucket list. Wonderful family experience.
