1000 metres long (green, orange and red route below), this via ferrata takes approximately 5 hours including a 40-minute walk back to the departure point.
Discover the National Park from an all new perspective, in a unique mountain experience, the Via Ferrata Mont Tremblant. Established and already popular in Europe, “via ferratas” or “iron roads” have been springing up all over Quebec in the last few years.
This exciting route is built onto the Vache Noire rock wall. Located in Mont-Tremblant park, the Via Ferrata Mont-Tremblant promises to be chock-full of surprises! Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced hiker, you will never forget this adventure, which you will embark on with a guide. Clipped into a steel cable that runs the length of the cliff, you will cross a challenging face with built-in steps, handles, beams and various types of bridges while overlooking the meandering Diable River far below. After making a 200-metre ascent, you will be struck by a spectacular view of the mountains and horizon.
No rockclimbing experience is necessary to experience the via ferrata. A brief course will help you learn the basics of via ferrata before tackling the trail. All required safety equipment is provided. Expect some physical exertion.
