Serge met us at the designated time. He took us for a fun ATV ride and made a few stops along the way to view some of the scenery.

I loved the aerial adventure course. The course was as I was expecting and hoping for.

Jimmy was a great guide. He explained the activity and prepared us to succeed performing the course. He checked on us regularly to ensure we were safe and having a good time. I would recommend this course to others interested in this kind of activity.

My partner, our dog, and I had an absolutely beautiful experience here. It is the perfect mix of being out in the wild without losing that authentic, rustic camping feel. The treehouses are fully equipped with almost everything you need for the weekend—all you need to pack is your food, clothes, and sleeping gear.

The Trek & Location:
Heads up for those who are able-bodied: it is a 20-30 minute hike with lots of uphill and downhills (or less time by canoe!) from the main pavilion to the treehouses. They provide carts at the pavilion to haul your gear and water gallons, but it is quite a trek so please pack light! Once you arrive, you are rewarded with a beautiful, deeply private space.

The Off-Grid Experience:
They have thought of every little detail, down to brooms and cleaning supplies. The dry toilets on-site are exceptionally clean. If you are averse to dry toilets, the 20-minute walk back to the pavilion is gorgeous, where you'll find modern, fully equipped private bathrooms and clean showers open 24/7. There is also a small room with Wi-Fi at the pavilion, as you are completely off-grid at the treehouse. They provide power packs for the cabin lights, but definitely bring your own headlamps/flashlights for nighttime walks!

Sustainability & Mindfulness:
What makes this place truly special is its connection to the eco-park. It forces you to think about resource consumption in the best way possible. You haul non-potable water from the pristine lake dock, and they even offer carbon points for the wood bags you buy. The wood stove keeps the cabin incredibly warm and insulated at night. Unlike massive, tourist-heavy campgrounds, this place is built entirely around sustainability and keeping nature wild.

Perks & Staff:
Dog-Friendly: Finding high-quality prêt-à-camper options that allow dogs is rare. Our dog honestly had the best time of all of us!

The Trails: Don't skip the boardwalk trail across the water—it's incredibly quiet, peaceful, and full of birds and wildlife.

The Staff: Incredibly kind, fully bilingual, and happy to give trail advice. Thank you Diane! Check-in is seamless, and they have an excellent system for late arrivals.

If you are looking for pure silence and to be at one with nature, this is the perfect place. We highly recommend it! Please dont miss out and make sure you book with them!

There was a lot to enjoy about our visit to the park. The scenery was absolutely amazing, and the view from our cabin was breathtaking. The cabins themselves are top notch; perfectly insulated and with windows placed for great airflow. I think our groups biggest highlight was the scenery through the R1 trail past the cabins themselves. It was rough, as you would expect from side trails in April, but the views we got were phenomenal; well worth climbing over fallen trees and around flooded sections. April is one of the favorite times of year for camping for me and my wife because of all the new spring flows all around. We accept the challenges of rain, ice, and a slip here and there. The benefits of once in a time views unique with each year, and the solitude of being there in a time that is not quite as popular more than make up for it.

There were a few minor annoyances while we weee there that were tollerable alone but added up. The smoke alarm was an out of date style that kept going off with the smallest amount of cooking. The water jug was only 10L for potable which I feel would be fine as a couple or solo but as a group of 3 we had to make two trips a day for drinking water, another jug for larger groups lr a closer supply would be nice. The paths to the cabins themselves were nearly as rough as the side roads, a little sand would go a really long way, but the main entrance and a small patch halfway are the only parts with sand. Im not sure who is in charge of path maintenance, Park Eco, or Refuges Perches, but considering they have regular paying guests; the Refuge should really check in on things. The toilets are in a bad state. According to the service log posted there it was more than a month since the last visit and the smell was insane. We are typically fine with most outhouses, but this was bad.

My only big issue is their pet policy. To allow dogs but no other pets is absurd. We have to deal with dog feces across the path, barking and jumping, and of course few obey the leash rule outside of the pavilion. Yet our parrot and cat, each of whom are far better on leash, far cleaner, and far more polite to other guests, are not allowed. There is an idea among some; that dogs are the superior pet for training, and especially for camping. But this isn't true. It should be all pets, or none.

These cabins and trails are phenomenal, well worth 5 stars and anything beyond a rating system can give. I would be extatic to return again and try new cabins for new amazing views. I do wish the people behind the experience were more caring about the experience they are delivering.
