Reviews

I bought ticket for family of 5, so that was over $150. Not sure why I thought it was going to be like the water park at splash valley at cobden ontario that has a floating flamingo water challenge on a nice clean lake with a large expanse of well kept sitting and relaxing area.. While my first 2 daughters had a good time on the inflatable water challenge, the 2 boys (10 & 7 on a specturm)struggled with it, which I knew was going to happen, however for some reason which maybe I should blame myself, I thought I might be able to entertain them with other stuffs like playing in the water and building sand castles or just chilling and walking around. For an activity that was described as full day access, I thought one could actually spend a full day there just relaxing, but nope the environment is very poorly kept. The sitting area is small, over grown bushes and weed, too many bugs. Lake Water was dirty. The mobile toilet is horrible, its not a free open park, so least I expected was a proper washroom and changing room.

I think this place was built for summer camp kids who all had a blast as they were so excited jumping right onto the inflatable.

We left after an hr as my kids needed to use the wash room and they will never use those mobile toilets that you can see everyone's poop and pee and loads of tissue. yucky!
I didn't get value for my money. Which I blame myself and not the management as they actually offer what they advertised, which is inflatable water challenge, and nothing more. So just change and jump on it.

Thank you for taking the time to share this with us, and we're truly sorry your family's visit didn't go the way you'd hoped. We hear you on the washroom facilities and the sitting area - that's not the experience we want our guests to have, and we're taking a close look at both right now to improve them. Bugs and lake conditions vary throughout the season. The mosquito and blackfliy seasons run from about May 20 - July 15. As for the layout of the departure area, we're very limited because it's regulated. In Quebec, the shoreline protection policy prohibits any alteration of the riverside strip. Becauseof this we aren't allowed to clear vegetation. In fact this is a province wide law to filter run-off to protect lake and river quality. That's why we have several picnic tables a bit further from the departure point, for people to eat their lunch. As for the lake water, it's tested twice per summer. It is, indeed, a natural lake and not an artificial one, so it comes with some algae and a muddy bottom in certain spots. We also want to make sure our activity description is clear so guests know exactly what to expect before they reserve: our water park is built around the inflatable modules on the lake, with a lifeguard on site and flotation vests included for everyone. Full-day access means guests can arrive anytime between 10:30 and 5:30 PM, rather than a set start time. It's not meant to describe a lounging or beach-resort style setup, and we hear that this wasn't clear from what you read beforehand. We'll take a look at how we can make that distinction easier to spot when guests are reserving, especially families who might be planning a full day around it. Thank you again, that is valuable feedback for us. We're really glad your daughters had a great time on the modules, and we're sorry the experience wasn't the right fit for the rest of your family.

My kids adored this water park. So much so that we’re already planning to go again tomorrow. As an adult with only moderate athletic ability and not great balance, I didn’t enjoy it, but I did enjoy sitting in the shade on the beach watching my kids shenanigans.
