Description

Our Mont-Catherine Aerial Adventure Park is a 4-level obstacle course combining agility and balance games that are accessible for ages 3 yrs +.

The aerial courses are available on several levels of difficulty that offer fun and challenges for both children and adults. Among the obstacles, you will find a Tarzan rope, a monkey bridge, a few zip lines and various suspended walkways.

Participants are attached to a steel cable on a continuous lifeline throughout the course for added safety and to provide some support when needed.

Conditions

Minimum 3 years old. Max 250 lbs/113 kg. There must be at least one adult participant per family. Maximum of 4 children per adult participant. An adult must be present on site during the activity.

Children 8-15 yrs: Signature of guardian required.

Children 3-7 yrs – Level 1: Adult (18yrs+) can participate but not required.

Children 3-7 yrs – other levels: Participating Adult (18yrs+) required.

Expectant mothers cannot participate. Long hair must be tied back and no jewelry must be worn.

TO BRING: Closed sport shoes, sun screen, bug spray, gloves (optional).

When should I reserve?

Reservations can be made a few days in advance or even on the day of activity.

How should we be dressed?

Is the activity safe?

There is an element of risk in all outdoor activities. The risk is minimized and here is how: During the briefing on the ground, you are taught how to manipulate and handle equipment properly. You are given the time to practice on your own before going up on the course.

Can anyone do this activity?

Yes, as long as you can move easily and that you are ready for some physical and balance challenges. If you can climb a ladder you should have no problem.

How long is this activity?

You have access to the course for a maximum of 2hrs.

Can we accompany a friend/family member without doing the activity and without paying?

Yes, an open path follows the courses. You can be the videographer!

Do operators accompany us on the course?

No. When you arrive, we give you the equipment, and then you can start the course.

Comments: great fun, quite challenging for a nonclimber but not too bad either. should've told people that it's a one carabiner lock in course instead of 2 and that there is a point in the course that people can choose to drop out and not continue because that way my other friend could've joined.

Hi, Sorry you were not able to make it to your snowmobiling. We try not to disappoint people on blustery days, but its really hard to keep everyone happy. In inclement weather some people are upset when we cancel and some are upset when we don't.

Comments: The tour guide who took my son was excellent. However, the lack of staff present at the trailer or lack of knowledge of the staff at the park building was unacceptable. If a situation that happened earlier in the day put the tour behind schedule (by more than 90 minutes) we should have been notified and someone should have communicated that to us rather than leaving us waiting and wondering why were we being neglected. My son enjoyed his experience. However, the logistics of booking and rebooking and our waiting at the park, certainly left a bad taste in our mouth for this experience.

Comments: Charles was a fantastic guide. Pleasant to be with and very safety oriented. I felt a lot more confident after he gave some important safety tips. I was a tad disappointed that the via ferrata itself was a bit shorter and a lot easier than I anticipated (a child could easily do it). I was under the impression I was signing up for something a little more adventurous, but I heard there is a newer more challenging route being created, so I'm hoping to try that out in the future. The zip lines were incredible.

Comments: My son and I weigh 175 pounds each and they made us ride tandem on 2 zip lines. There were people that weighed less than us that rode solo because they were alone. We did not want to ride tandem and the operators told us we had to. I guess they were trying to move the groups faster.

Comments: Overall excellent experience. The Eco talks a bit weak and not exactly connected to the experience. The panels were good and probably suffice t without the guides verbal add on. A bit more. Plantation of how the braking system works and where it would attach would have made me feel more secure on the first run. We brought my elderly parents to this event and they went out of the way to be accommodating for my parents so they could participate. And the zip lines were so much fun!

Comments: The activity itself was great, but started an hour and a half after the time given for people to be there (30 mins ahead of start). It is not reasonable to penalise those that arrive on time due to the tardiness of others. Also, the system for moving people through the activities was very inefficient with long waits between each zip line. There has to be a better way to run this.

Thanks for your feedback. It is really not fun to wait for another participant who is late. It is equally not fun to get delayed and have an activity group leave without you, and lose $300 or $400, or $500 dollars.We do everything we can to make sure guests are on time. Departure times are emailed to everyone in their reservation confirmation, which clearly states that you must be on time, and departure times are given in all our marketing.We do our best to try to accomodate those who are a bit late but there is no perfect solution.

At this location we only have single ziplines. The groups move through a bit slower. Comments: Everything was ok until the second zip line. Then another group butted in front of us and our guides were nowhere to be seen. We found out later that they went home and left us on the mountain. We were the very last people to leave. We were left alone for almost 3 hours. Not impressed.

Comments: I experience whiplash and concussion during this activity. I Spoke with the owner of mega zip lines and informed him of my concussion and whiplash I experienced at his property. Also expressed my concern with the safety. Owner said he would call me back that day and now 3 weeks later have not heard back. Very disappointed as I feel Mega Zip lines have not taken by accident seriously and new customer will be at risk for injury.

Comments: My kids and I thought there was too much waiting. The group was what I woudl consider to be too large - and we had to wait for everyonet o complete the zipline before continuting to the next one. Plus, we arrived on time, but many people did not, and we i think also waited for more people to join our group. As such we were waiting around to begin theactivity, and waiting around during the activity. The ziplining was fun, but I would not recommend this activity.

Hi, thanks very much for your comments. We've never had this problem before and we have providing the same maps for several years. We were puzzled so we walked the route. Your feedback made us realize that the signage along the way to the course has been taken down! So we've just redone the maps with more detailed instructions so this doesn't happen again.
