RAFTING
Looking for an exhilarating adventure to do this summer? Look no further than our Rouge River Rafting – Express 1/2 Day trip!
Our expert guides lead you through the best stretches of the river based on current water levels, ensuring a thrilling and unforgettable experience for both veterans and novices alike. Our one run of either the Harrington Canyon or Seven Sisters provides the best rapids on the river, where the fast and furious cascade of ledges, drops, and waves will keep you on the edge of your inflatable raft. The calm pools after each rapid give you a chance to catch your breath and enjoy the scenery of the river and its sandy beaches.
The descent also provides time for surfing the rafts, swimming, and floating in the current. Before starting our adventure, we provide a safety briefing and practice basic rafting maneuvers to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Our inflatable rafts accommodate between 6 and 9 people, so you can bring your family and friends along for the ride.
Our professional guides will explain what to do and how to react before each rapid, as we aim for a safe and thrilling experience.
Our amenities at the rafting center, such as the bar, shower, pool, hot tub, volleyball court, and dining room, provide everything you need to rest and recharge from your adventure.
Rafting has been an extremely popular activity at Mont-Tremblant for 20 years. Despite the long drive, our customers have always found the trip worthwhile, and repeatedly tell us it was the best experience of their stay. We’re proud to offer this activity even though the distance to get there is the longest.
SPORTYAKING
This sportyak half-day adventure is for you if you have previous rafting or kayak experience and are ready for an exciting new challenge.
What’s Sportyaking? It’s a sportyak for 2 people and the ultimate white water sport. It combines the thrills of rafting and the skills of kayaking. It’s perfect for guests who have canoeing and rafting experience and want to take on a new challenge.
We begin our day with a safety briefing. Then, under the supervision of our experienced kayaker guides, you will learn proper paddle techniques for entering and exiting against currents, recovering your own boat in a surf and facing the rapids of the Rouge River at full speed!
You’ll do one thrilling decent of the Rouge River, taking time between rapids to enjoy the scenery and have fun on the calmer sections of the river.
We also offer a full day which includes 2 descents of the river, a riverside lunch and dinner at our basecamp.

Additional information :
- Not in Mont-Tremblant region: Before moving to the Rouge River we had our start right beside Mont-Tremblant on the Devil’s river in the early 1990’s. Rafting has been popular with visitors to Mont-Tremblant since the late 1990s, with shuttle buses to our Basecamp a few times a week. It is a longstanding popular activity for guests from Tremblant, but our base is NOT not in Tremblant. So if you are rafting with us and leaving from Montreal or Ottawa don’t come to Mont-Tremblant. Follow the directions we send to go straight to our rafting base. If home is Montreal or Toronto or even the USA, consider placing your rafting trip at the end of your visit to Mont-Tremblant as it’s on your way home.
- Duration: 2 hours of rafting or sportyaking. The total duration, including driving (or transportation) time, and briefing is around 5 hours.
- Participants will meet at our base camp and can leave a bag there.
- In low season (May, Jun, Sep, Oct) we may cancel (rarely) if we can’t fill an entire raft. If we don’t have the minimum number of participants, the activity will not be offered.
- For guests who choose to reserve in advance (recommended), directions to meeting points will be provided in your reservation by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when you reserve at The Activity Centre.
