At The Tremblant Activity Centre, we take safety and professional standards seriously and we also have a deep respect for the environment.
Aventure Écotourisme Québec "Quality Safety Certified" is the only official mark of recognition for safety standards in Quebec. Aventure Écotourisme Québec "Ecotourism verified" is a recognition specifically designed for our industry.
A commitment we make to our guests.
The Quality-Safety certification is a self-regulation program for adventure tourism companies, developed by Aventure Écotourisme Québec with financial support from the Quebec Ministry of Tourism. Its goal is to ensure the best possible conditions for everyone taking part in adventure activities across Quebec.
The AEQ accreditation program includes some sixty generic standards, as well as standards specific to each of the activities offered. The program is regularly updated by the AEQ to keep pace with developments in our industry. Standards are developed by advisory committees made up of company executives and outdoor industry experts (e.g. outdoor federations, discipline specialists). Our certified activities go through an on-site inspection carried out by a dedicated AEQ advisor.

On top of the Quality-Safety certification, some of our activities have earned the Ecotourism attestation from Aventure Écotourisme Québec. This attestation does not follow from the first one — it builds on it, with an even higher level of requirement.
Ecotourism is a form of tourism that aims to introduce visitors to a natural environment while preserving its integrity. It includes an interpretive component on the natural or cultural features of the environment, promotes a respectful attitude toward nature, is grounded in sustainable development principles, and generates socioeconomic benefits for local and regional communities.
The first official standard for ecotourism products in Quebec
Ecotourism is about exploring nature while preserving it. It includes activities that help visitors understand the environment, while encouraging respect for it. It's a sustainable approach that benefits local communities.
By being part of the AEQ network, we contribute to a collective effort toward carbon neutrality in Quebec's tourism sector.
