Experience our Bison Visit & Sled Dog Kennel Visit with a hike through wildlife habitats and a visit to Quebec’s first Athabascan wood bison reserve. End your tour by playing with sled dogs and learning about their lives—perfect for all ages!
Our tour activity runs throughout the year. Whether you are wearing snowshoes (in winter) or not, you will hike towards fascinating wildlife habitats. You may spot evidence of animal presence, such as beaver dams, deer wintering areas, wolf tracks, snowy partridge nests, or even traces of coyotes and Canadian lynx.
The focal point of this activity is Quebec’s first reserve for Athabasca wood bison. Our team established this reserve for the protection and study of these animals, which are classified as an endangered species. You will learn facts about their way of life and the conservation efforts we are undertaking.
Your visit will conclude at the kennel, where you will meet our Nordic dogs. This is your chance to interact with them and learn everything about the life of these fantastic dogs.
