Prepare for your stay : what you need to know
MANDATORY : if you haven’t already done, please register for your access to Parc Éco-Laurentides
CHECK-IN HOURS are 14h30 to 17h (14h30 to 19h Fridays). You can arrive in the morning before your check-in, or stay after your check-out until the end of the day, and enjoy the park.
CHECK-OUT 9h to 11h
Late check-ins – there will be no-one to check you in…no problem, just call 1-819-321-0808 and we will check you in by phone and arrange to leave you what you need. There are also late check-in instructions posted outside the reception building.
Christmas holidays: Normal hours except Dec 25th and Jan 1st (where there will be no check-ins or check-outs and no services offered).
Refundable Damage and cleaning deposit of $190 will be required at check-in by credit card only, or on-line check-in before arriving.
PARK FEES will also be charged separately by the not-for-profit regional Park. At time of writing(Jan 2026); Adult 18yrs+ 10$/night – senior 60ans+ 7$/night – Kids free. Parc fees should be paid in advance at www.parceco.ca
BAGGAGE You must be prepared for your stay. Please consult the “what to bring” and “treehouses include” lists below. PACK LIGHT the treehouses are well equipped so you don’t have to bring much. YOU WILL TRANSPORT YOUR OWN BAGGAGE ON A GRAVELHIKING TRAIL, A DISTANCE OF 200-1000 METERS (12-20 minutes). Each treehouse has access to 2 large carts in summer OR 2 large toboggans in winter. Backpacks make transport easier. Wear appropriate footwear. Canoes are available for rent, and can be used for transport of baggage (Lakeside East only), 8 minutes paddling.
BOATING We have 24 canoes for rent (1 canoe available for rent for each treehouse, you may rent a 2nd canoe if available at time of check-in. Lifejackets and paddles are included with all boat rentals. Fishing: you are required to fish from a boat (canoe or rowboat). The Park has row boats, reserve online at: parceco.ca. The Park does not allow fishing from the shore or docks as these are shared spaces. You must bring your provincial fishing permit and equipment. You may bring your own kayak, canoe, paddleboard. Electric motors are permitted.
EXTRA CHARGES Being an eco-resort and in the spirit of SUSTAINABILITY, consumables as well as optional items WE CHARGE FOR to encourage responsible consumption. Feel free to bring them FROM HOME. We include dozens of items free, but there are 8 we will CHARGE EXTRA for if you need them; power pack, 1 L propane, treehouse kit(candles, garbage bags, dishrags), canoe, snowshoes, sleeping bag, and firewood(firewood from home must be commercially packaged, see below). GPS is not a reliable way of finding many of our departure points for a variety of reasons. Use the directions below, and only use GPS as a secondary aid.
FROM MONTREAL (1 hour and 40 minute drive).
1.Take autoroute 15 North to Sainte-Agathe.
2. After Sainte-Agathe, the 15 North merges with 117.
3. Continue on the 117 North for 17km.
4. Take Exit 107 for “Mont-Blanc rue Principale”, beside Mont-Blanc Ski hill, and turn left under the highway.
5. Turn left onto Chemin des Lacs and go up the hill.
6. Continue 11km and turn right on Chemin du Lac Caribou at the large sign “Parc Eco des Laurentides – Centre Educatif et Touristique des Laurentides”.
7. Continue 6km, staying on Chemin du Lac Caribou(stay right at any forks) to arrive at the Park gates (Parc Eco des Laurentides)
8. Turn right at the stop and continue 1km to our Reception building. Parking is in the right. You will be greeted inside.
FROM OTTAWA: (2 hour and 15 minute drive)
1. Take autoroute 50 East.
2. Take 323 North to Mont-Tremblant.
3. At the stop light in front of the overpass once you arrive in St.Jovite-Mont-Tremblant, turn right to get on the 117 South
4. Continue southbound about 10km and exit 107 for “Mont-Blanc, Lac Superieur”, beside the Mont-Blanc Ski hill.
5. Veer right at the stop then immediately left onto Chemin des Lacs and go up the hill(do not go under the highway).
6. Continue 11km and turn right on Chemin du Lac Caribou at the large sign “Parc Eco des Laurentides” or “Centre Educatif et Touristique des Laurentides”.
7. Continue 6km, staying on Chemin du Lac Caribou(stay right at any forks) to arrive at the Park gates Parc Eco des Laurentides (Centre Educatif et Touristique des Laurentides)
8. Turn right at the stop and continue 1km to our Reception building. Parking is on the right. You will be greeted inside.
DIRECTIONS FROM TREMBLANT (40 minute drive).
1. Exit Tremblant and drive towards the traffic-circle at the north end of Montée Ryan facing Lac Tremblant and turn left on Montée Ryan.
2. At the next large traffic-circle adjacent to the Tourist Information Centre continue on Montée Ryan.
3. At the end of Montée Ryan, turn left on Highway 117 South.
4. Continue southbound about 12km and exit 107 for “Mont-Blanc, Lac Superieur”, beside the Mont-Blanc Ski hill.
5. Veer right at the stop then immediately left onto Chemin des Lacs and go up the hill(do not go under the highway).
6. Continue 11km and turn right on Chemin du Lac Caribou at the large sign “Parc Eco des Laurentides” “Centre Educatif et Touristique des Laurentides”.
