GPS is not a reliable way of finding many of our departure points for a variety of reasons. Use the directions below, and only use GPS as a secondary aid. We recommend bringing/renting a car in Montreal if you are coming to visit the Mont-Tremblant area and want to get around easily. We are in a rural area so taxis/rideshare can be limited or delayed in high season.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1.You must be dressed appropriately with closed-toe sport shoes, see http://www.tremblantactivities.com/whattowear We provide helmets, harnesses and snowshoes(winter). Winter: Bring snowsuits, winter boots, gloves, goggles, tuque and tube(or balaclava) Summer: bring 1 liter of water per participant.
2. You must be at the designated meeting point on time. There are no refunds for no-shows or latecomers
3. Bring a snack for the 3 hour activities and a lunch for the 5 hour.
DIRECTIONS from ST-JOVITE Area – Ville de Mont-Tremblant 35 minute drive
1. Take 117 south to Sainte Agathe des Monts, about 25 minutes. Take the second exit for Ste Agathe, exit 86 for Val-David/Centre-Ville.
2. Turn left at the traffic light onto 117 Sud (Rue Principale), to pass under the highway.
3. After 100m, at first traffic light, turn left on to Chemin de la Rivière
4. After 1km, turn left on Chemin Trudel/Brunet.
6. Continue 400m and turn left on Ch. Mont-Catherine.
7. Continue 2.1km and you will see a parking on the right. Park here and walk up to the chalet where you will be greeted.
DIRECTIONS FROM TREMBLANT RESORT – Approximately 45-minute drive
1. Exit Tremblant and drive towards the roundabout at the north end of Montée Ryan facing Lac Tremblant
2. Turn left on Montée Ryan towards Montreal and hwy 117.
3. At the next large roundabout adjacent to the Tourist Information Centre continue on Montée Ryan.
4. At the end of Montée Ryan (after Tim Hortons), pass under hwy 117 turn left on Highway 117 South and follow the DIRECTIONS from ST-JOVITE Area above.
DIRECTIONS FROM OLD TREMBLANT VILLAGE Approximately 45-minute drive
1. Take Ch. du village from the Old village heading south. You should pass the church on your left as you leave the village otherwise you are heading the wrong way.
2. After a couple of minutes you will pass the fire station on your right then cross a bridge over the Diable River.
3. You will arrive at the large traffic-circle adjacent to the Tourist Information Centre.Take your first right onto Montee Ryan towards highway 117 – Montreal.
4. At the end of Montée Ryan (after Tim Hortons), pass under hwy 117 turn left on Highway 117 South and follow DIRECTIONS from ST-JOVITE Area above
DIRECTIONS FROM MONTREAL – 1h40
1. Take autoroute 15 North to Sainte-Agathe.
2. Take exit exit 86 for Val-David/Centre-Ville.
3. Turn left onto Chemin de la Rivière
4. After 1km, turn left on Chemin Trudel/Brunet.
5. Continue 400m and turn left on Ch. Mont-Catherine.
6. Continue 2.1km and you will see a parking on the right. Park here and walk up to the chalet where you will be greeted.
DIRECTIONS FROM OTTAWA – 2h40
1.Take autoroute 50 East.
2. Take 323 North to Mont-Tremblant.
3. Turn right to get on the 117 South follow DIRECTIONS from ST-JOVITE Area above
