Christmas periods with no snow, unusually warm weather, and rain are creating serious viability challenges. Outdoor operators in our area have come together to create a Climate Surcharge because it is no longer sustainable to run dogsledding activities, given the warming we are now experiencing.

Dogsledding depends on many kilometers of snow covered trails, which we can no longer rely on for this peak 3 week period.

We are adding a Climate Surcharge of 45*$/ adult & 35$*/ child, for dogsledding activities to reservations from 19 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, and from 5 March 2027 to 31 March 2027. This will help us cover revenue losses due to global warming, and preserve our activities so that guests can continue to enjoy them in the future.

*This surcharge, along with the entire reservation amount, will be refunded if we have to cancel your tour.

If you find this price high, know that we do too, and we recommend you come between 4 January and 4 March 2027, when pricing returns to normal and the weather risk is lower.
