Driving Directions – Rafting

Warning: your email reservation shows your meeting point, and if you chose transport or not. That is where you need to be. Please be sure to select the correct corresponding tab below.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1.You must dress appropriately for your chosen activity. See https://www.tremblantactivities.com/what-to-wear/
2. You must be at the designated meeting point on time. There are no refunds for no-shows or latecomers.

WHAT TO BRING:
1. A towel and dry change of clothes (https://www.tremblantactivities.com/what-to-wear/)
2. Money for souvenir items and TIPS for your guide
3. ID card for wetsuit rentals

WHAT NOT TO BRING:

  1. Jewellery and items of value 
  2. Expensive cameras or video-cameras 
  3. Passports or travel documents

Car keys can be left with the rafting receptionist.

From TREMBLANT 1 hour and 15-minute drive. 

  1. Exit Tremblant and Montée Ryan turn left on Montée Ryan. 
  2. At the next large traffic-circle adjacent to the Tourist Information Centre continue straight on Montée Ryan.
  3. At the end of Montée Ryan, turn left on Highway 117 South.
  4. After 3.5 km take  EXIT  117, for hwy 323 to Montebello, Brebeuf.
  5. Turn right at the lights onto hwy 323 south (chemin Brebeuf) continue to Brebeuf.
  6. In Brebeuf you will stay on hwy 323 by taking the second left after crossing the bridge.
  7. Follow signs for Montebello to autoroute 50 (just after Parc Omega).
  8. Take autoroute 50 east and then exit 233 Harrington, Kilmar
  9. At the stop turn left and then again left on Chemin des Sept Chutes. You will see the sign “Rafting – Nouveau Monde” our base is 1 km further..

 

FROM HAWKESBURY:

  1. After crossing over the Long Sault bridge from Ontario into Quebec, continue straight until you will see the information for Highway 50.
  2. Take the Highway 50 West  until the exit 233(Harrington, Kilmar)
  3. At the exit, at the stop sign, turn right. Then take the first road on your left Sept Chutes road , you will see a sign “Expéditions Nouveau Monde”, our base is 1 km further.

 

FROM MONTREAL NORTH, LAVAL & MONTREAL EAST: 

  1. Highway 15 North to the exit #35 (Mirabel Airport/ Highway 50 West). 
  2. Take Highway 50 West (towards Gatineau – Hull) until exit 233(Harrington, Kilmar).
  3. At the exit, at the stop sign, turn right. Then take the first road on your left ch. des Sept Chutes , you will also see the sign “Expéditions Nouveau Monde” , our base is 1 km further.

 

FROM MONTREAL WEST, SOUTH SHORE: 

  1. Highway 40 West (Transcanada Highway) towards Ottawa.
  2. Continue on route 417 East in Ontario until exit for Hawkesbury/ route 17 (exit #9).
  3. Take the route 17 and continue for about 8km Continue towards Hawkesbury until Tupper Street (Best Western Hotel).
  4. Turn right on Tupper Street and continue straight until you reach Main street.
  5. Turn left on Main Street till John Street (first set of lights).
  6. Turn right on John Street and cross over the Long Sault Bridge from Ontario into Quebec.
  7.  Follow directions FROM HAWKESBURY above.

 

FROM ST-SAUVEUR, STE-ADELE, STE-AGATHE: 

  1. Highway 15 South to the exit of Highway 50 West.
  2. Follow directions indicated above FROM MONTREAL NORTH.

 

FROM HULL: 

  1. Highway 50 East to exit 233 Harrington, Kilmar.
  2. At the stop turn left and then again left on Chemin des Sept Chutes.

You will see the sign “Rafting – Nouveau Monde” our base is 1 km further..

 

FROM OTTAWA: HIGHWAY 417 EAST

  1. Highway 417 East until exit 27.
  2. Follow the route 34 North towards Vankleek Hill until Hawkesbury (you are now on McGill street).
  3. Continue on McGill Street, which becomes the Chenail Blvd.
  4. At the last traffic light, turn left onto John Street and cross over the Long Sault bridge from Ontario into Quebec.

FROM OTTAWA: ROUTE 17 EAST: 

  1. Route 17 East until the sign Hawkesbury/Prescott Russell route 4.
  2. Turn left onto route 4 (Main St W) and continue until the traffic light at the intersection.
  3. Turn left on Chenail Blvd and continue until John St.
  4. Turn left on John St. and cross over the Long Sault Bridge from Ontario into Quebec
  5. Follow directions FROM HAWKESBURY above.

RAFTING – Meet at The Activity Centre in Place St Bernard at the Tremblant Resort.

The Activity Centre is located in Place St Bernard on the Tremblant resort – at the foot of the ski runs.
Please note if you are not staying in lodging at the resort – ALLOW EXTRA TIME to locate parking – especially during holiday periods.
The main parking lots at Tremblant are called P1, P2 or P3 and are located at the base of the resort about a 6 minute walk from The Activity Centre.

GPS is not a reliable way of finding many of our departure points for a variety of reasons. Use the directions below, and only use GPS as a secondary aid.

DIRECTIONS from ST-JOVITE Area/Ville de Mont-Tremblant – 15 minutes PLUS an extra 15mins to find parking and getting to meeting point.
1. Take 117 north. Take exit 119 and turn right on Montée Ryan. Continue on Montee Ryan for approx 5km
2. At the Traffic circle next to the Tourist Information Office – drive straight through and continue on Montee Ryan for a further 3.5km
3. You will arrive at a second traffic circle – take the first right onto ch.Duplessis.
4. Continue for 800m and turn left at the next stop sign – you can then drive a further 500m until you arrive to the entrance of the P1 resort parking.
5. We recommend that you park here in P1 and walk to The Activity Centre, or take the free “cabriolet” lift when in operation.
The Activity Centre is located at the foot of the slopes in the place St-Bernard in the upper section of the resort(see above).

DIRECTIONS from OLD VILLAGE – 10 minutes PLUS an extra 15mins to find parking and getting to meeting point.
1. Take ch. du village towards the resort
2. You will arrive at a traffic circle – take the 2nd exit off the circle for ch.Duplessis.
3. Continue for 800m and turn left at the next stop sign – you can then drive a further 500m until you arrive to the entrance of the P1 resort parking.
4. We recommend that you park here in P1 and walk to The Activity Centre, or take the free “cabriolet” lift when in operation.

From Montréal (about 10 km/6 miles). 1 1/2 hours.
Take autoroute 15 North to Sainte-Agathe. After Sainte-Agathe, the 15 North merges with 117. Continue on the 117 North past Mont-Tremblant. Two (2) km / 1.2 miles after Mont-Tremblant, take exit 119, turn right on Montée Ryan. Follow the “DIRECTIONS from ST-JOVITE Area” ABOVE.

From Ottawa – 2 hours
Take autoroute 50 East. Take 323 North to Mont-Tremblant. Turn left to get on the 117 North in Saint-Jovite. Two (2) km / 1.2 miles after Mont-Tremblant, take exit 119, turn right on Montée Ryan. Follow the “DIRECTIONS from ST-JOVITE Area” ABOVE.
