Panorama & Bisons for adventurous riders
Our horse trail ride in Mont Tremblant is a great experience for adventurous riders. You’ll head up mountain trails to the summit where you can enjoy the panoramic views over the Mont Tremblant region. Along the way, you will also have the chance to observe North America’s biggest land mammal, bisons, who are on-site in a species protection program.
The experience begins with a brief presentation of the horses and installation of the equipment required. After a safety briefing we start with valley trails that pass through lush pastures, and then ascend into the mountains for panoramic views. This horse trail ride is perfect for riders who are confident and adventurous. We do not trot or gallop. Maximum 6 horses per tour, 1 person per horse.

Know before you book :
- Minimum 13 years old if no experience, minimum 10 years old with experience (Forest ride).
- Minimum height: 3’7” (1m09).
- Maximum weight 210lbs/95kg.
- Pregnant women cannot participate.
- Maximum 6 horses per tour, 1 person per horse.
- Forest Ride: This activity is for beginners/intermediates. No trotting or galloping.
- Panorama & Bisons: This horse trail ride activity is for adventurous/confirmed riders. No trotting or galloping.
Know before you go:
- Please dress appropriately for horseback riding. Ask if you are unsure or see our What to wear section.
- Participants must wear long pants and closed toe shoes.

- Our base is 40 minutes from Tremblant resort. Approximately a 2-hour drive from Montreal and Ottawa.
- Duration – Forest Ride: 1 hour ride plus a 45 minute presentation and briefing period.
- Duration – Panorama & Bisons for adventurous riders: 2 hour ride plus a 45 minute presentation and briefing period.
- For guests who choose to reserve in advance (recommended), directions to meeting points will be provided in your reservation by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when you reserve at The Activity Centre.
