With our snowshoe rentals at Tremblant resort, you can go exploring the trails of your choice! Pick-up at The Activity Centre, located in the heart of the pedestrian village.

Description

You may think of Tremblant as a busy ski resort, but we have lots of wilderness right on our doorstep. On one side we have 1500 sq km of Provincial Park and on the other a beautiful river valley with a large public forest.

You can start your snowshoe hike directly from the resort, or choose from a number of other trail networks in the area. Our staff will give you the information you need to choose your trails.

Know before you book:

Pick up: the day of rental or after 16h00 the night before.
Return: before 17h00.
Access to trails is not included and varies from 9.25$ to 19$ per pers. depending on your choice of trail network.

Please dress appropriately for snowshoeing. Ask if you are unsure or see our What to wear section.

Additional information :

Our base is at the Tremblant resort. We are situated less than a 2-hour drive from Montreal and Ottawa.
Duration: Pick up the day of rental or after 16h00 the night before. Return: before 17h00.
Poles and overboots are available as extras.
For guests who choose to reserve in advance (recommended), directions to meeting points will be provided in your reservation by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when you reserve at The Activity Centre.
Prices do not include taxes or mandatory resort royalty of 3% and may be subject to change without notice.

Where do we go on the trip?

Fireman: The guide takes you along an easy hiking trail, through the forest and along the ski hills with beautiful views of the resort. We leave right from The Activity Centre.

Snowshoe Rentals: You leave right from The Activity Centre and the world is for you to explore! Our staff will give you the information you need to choose your trails. Snowshoe Rental at Tremblant: You will receive information about the different trails in the area upon pick-up.

If you can walk, you can snowshoe!

Snowshoeing at Tremblant - Rental/Fireman Tour Richard was a great guide! We enjoyed our hike, which went off the trail and through the woods, and involved a little bit of scrambling. There wasn’t enough snow, so we wore crampons instead of snowshoes. Saw some wolf tracks but no wildlife, and a lovely waterfall at the end of the hike. Richard really knows his way around Mont Tremblant, we had a nice afternoon!

Snowshoeing at Tremblant - Rental The woman who sold us passes gave us all incorrect information. She said we could not take the gondola down with the uphill pass, and she said it would take 1.5 hour to get to the top. We wer on the mountain for more than four hours, and had to walk down on ski trails. It was very dangerous and scary. We are 63 and 65 and this was not our first expectation. Your lift sales should be much better informed.

This is a comment about the ski hill...not about us 🙂 But thanks for letting us know because we will need to look into this with the ski hill operator. We do not offer ski hill passes of any kind. We handle the snowshoe rentals and give advice on where to use them. I will make sure the info we are giving about snowshoeing on the ski hill is accurate and I will re-post. Btw we usually recommend snowshoe areas in the valley, the National Park, and even trails leaving right from the resort village. The summit of the skill hill is still interesting for some as you can get out of the busy ski area and into the higher alpine forest with great views. It takes a map, and the know how to use one, for ALL of these options though (we provide maps as well). Btw here are snowshoe trails both up and down the mountain. It is not necessary(or fun) to take a ski trail.

Snowshoeing at Tremblant - rental/Fireman Booking online was easy with excellent descriptions provided about what the activity entails.Our guide was friendly. Very knowledgeable about the inhabitants of the woods, nature and the general culture of the area. We also appreciated the rest breaks to catch our breath on the uphill climb.
