PARC NATIONAL DU MONT-TREMBLANT-SECTEUR DIABLE ENTRANCE – ACCESS ONLY, SUMMER

For some of our meeting points, for a variety of reasons, GPS & map applications are not a reliable way of finding them. Use the directions below, and then use GPS/app as a secondary aid only. We recommend bringing/renting a car in Montreal if you are coming to visit the Mont-Tremblant area and want to get around easily. We are in a rural area so taxis/rideshare can be limited or delayed in high season. 

 

Your responsibilities.

  1. You must dress appropriately for your chosen activity.
  2. Bring sun screen and bug spray.
  3. You must be at the designated meeting point on time. There are no refunds for no-shows or latecomers. 

 

DIRECTIONS FROM TREMBLANT RESORT – Approximately 45-minute drive – DETOUR FOLLOWING CLOSURE OF CHEMIN DUPLESSIS

  1. Exit Tremblant and drive towards the roundabout at the north end of Montée Ryan facing Lake Tremblant
  2. Turn left on Montée Ryan towards Montreal and hwy 117.
  3. At the next large roundabout adjacent to the Tourist Information Centre continue on Montée Ryan.
  4. At the end of Montée Ryan (after Tim Hortons), pass under hwy 117 turn left to take Highway 117 South.
  5. Follow the DIRECTIONS from ST-JOVITE Area below.

 

DIRECTIONS from ST-JOVITE Area – Ville de Mont-Tremblant   35 minute drive

  1. Take autoroute 117 south towards Montreal and drive for 10-12km.
  2. Take exit 107 for St-Faustin-Lac-Carré and Lac Supérieur at Mont-Blanc ski hill. Turn left under the autoroute then turn right and continue about 3km on rue Principale passing through the village.
  3. After the village, turn left on ch. Lac Supérieur.
  4. Continue for about 20km staying on ch. Lac Supérieur, following brown Park signs for secteur La Diable NOT secteur Pimbina, staying right at the intersection with ch. Duplessis.
  5. Continue past this intersection for 5km on Ch Lac Superieur until you arrive at the Park entrance.
  6. The Park gate is a few hundred meters after entering the Park. Please show your reservation here on your cel phone(download it in advance as there is no signal in the Park).

 

DIRECTIONS FROM MONTREAL (approx. 2h drive)

1.Take autoroute 15 North to Sainte-Agathe. After Sainte-Agathe, the 15 North merges with 117. Continue on the 117 North.

2.Take exit 107 for St-Faustin-Lac-Carré and Lac Supérieur. Turn right at the stop and drive about 3km on rue Principale through the village of St Faustin. 

3.After the village, turn left on ch. Lac Supérieur Drive for about 20km staying on ch. Lac Supérieur, following brown Park signs for secteur La Diable NOT secteur Pimbina, staying right at the intersection with ch. Duplessis. Drive for 5km on Ch Lac Superieur until you arrive at the Park entrance.

FROM OTTAWA: (approx 2.5hrs)

1.Take autoroute 50 East and get onto 148 East to Montebello. 

2.Take the 323 North to Mont-Tremblant. 

  1. On arrival at Mont Tremblant .Turn right to get on the 117 South and drive for 10km. 
  2. Take exit 107 off the 117 highway for St-Faustin-Lac-Carré and Lac Supérieur and turn left. 
  3. Turn right and drive about 3km on rue Principale through the village of St Faustin

6.After the village, turn left on ch. Lac Superieur. Drive for about 20km staying on ch. Lac Supérieur, following brown Park signs for secteur La Diable NOT secteur Pimbina staying right at the intersection with Ch. Duplessis. Drive for 5km on Ch Lac Superieur until you arrive at the Park entrance.

DIRECTIONS FROM TREMBLANT RESORT (45-minute drive)
1. Take ch. Duplessis towards the north side of Tremblant and Lac Superieur for approx. 11km.
2. Turn right at stop sign at the T intersection for the north side parking lot. Drive another 2.5km on ch. Duplessis.
3. At the stop sign, turn LEFT onto Chemin du Lac-Supérieur Drive for 5km to the park main entrance. Present your reservation confirmation at the gate to avoid paying access fees.
4. Continue through the entrance into the park for approx. 12 km until you arrive at the Lac-Monroe discovery centre.
5. Park your car and present your reservation inside.
