Dog Sled Tour: here is what to expect!
Our Tremblant Dog Sledding Tour starts as soon as you are greeted at the kennel by our 30 excited dogs.
Before the departure, our guides will decide positions on the sleds : if you have a particular position request, please make it known to our guide when you arrive. Adults will be teamed up : there will be 1 driver and 1 or 2 passengers per sled. Adults will usually, but not always, drive their own dog sled with an adult passenger. Passengers and drivers from the same sled can switch places half way through the excursion. Children may be required to ride as passengers on the guides’ sleds or ride on parents’ sled.
When the teams are ready, you’ll get a short security briefing and learn how to command the dogs. Then you’re off! You’ll drive your sled through a field of valley trails, surrounded by a pine forest wand stunning views of Mont-Tremblant. The tour enters into the forest several times. We are on the trail for about 1 hour. At the end of the dog sled tour, there will be a grooming period with the dogs while giving treats. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served! You will have the chance to chat with the guides about the world of dog sledding.
