Comments:  We had an amazing guide(Michael) and he was a great instructor, support and wonderful with our kids (And adults!) but I would have felt safer if he had a back-up guide.

Comments:  our climbing instructor was fantastic!!! HOWEVER: she was but one, there was 7 of us, plus 2 other customers. unfortunately because of that , our instructor was hoping from one climber to the next, my husband and I managed to squeak in one quick climb. Often enough our kids were stuck waiting at the top before being able to be belayed down. I dont think this was our instructors fault, for the cost of the activity, there could have been more instructors for the group.

Comments:  Our teacher was absolutely amazing with our 8 & 10 year old girls. He encouraged them to 1) Be safe, 2) Have fun and 3) Push their limits. The amount they learned in the 2 hours was amazing! They are begging to go back again! Thank you!!

Comments:  There was absolutely no communication and hand holding or explanation from the guide on how to go about rock climbing. After a while due to the non responsive attitude we decided to wind up and return to our stay location

Comments:  Our guide was very nice but very quiet. Was not super encouraging while climbing or helpful. We love to climb and the climbing was fun, but guide wasn’t great.

Comments:  We went rock climbing. The operator, Francesco (sp?) was friendly and basically jumped right into the activity, which was nice! He did go over safety protocols, of course! rnrnI think teaching/showing how to belay on the way down would have been nice. This, of course depends on the comfort level of the participants, but since it wasn't shown, some were not comfortable with anyone other than the operator helping them come down, which slows down the process.rnrnOverall, it was a good experience.

Comments:  The operator was excellent. He was friendly, helpful and professional. The problem was that we only had 1 rope for 5 people. As a result, almost the whole time was spent waiting and fidgeting. In the three hours, I only got to ascend twice, and my kids only got to go up three times. We did this activity once before (2-3 yrs ago), and it was much better then with multiple lines and plenty of opportunity to climb (until pretty much exhaustion). This time, the kids were pretty bored most of the time as they waited a full hour between each 10-15 minute climb. The issue here might have been that I was the only adult, and there were 4 kids (two of mine and two unaccompanied teens), so no one else who could reliably belay. In any case, it made for an overall disappointing experience, which, last time we did it, was the highlight of our trip. The climbing itself was fun, but there just was not enough of it for the money/time.

Thanks for letting us know. We've spoken with the head guide. His guide made the call to only use 1 rope because there were so many kids (and only 1 adult to belay). He has since been trained on an alternative method to ensure climbers safety, without using adult belayers. We will contact you directly to invite you back for a do-over.

Comments:  rnrnHi,rnrnrnI would like to express my gratitude to Isabelle who was our guide on Monday. She did absolutely fantastic job being professional, charming, considerate, caring and cheerful all the way through. rnit was not easy for (some of) my kids to climb a first real rock in their life but under her careful guidance they overcame their fears, made it to the top few times and enjoyed the experience immensely. rnrnThanks, Isabelle!rnrn

Comments:  Kimberly had never done anything like this before. The instructor was very complimentary of her effort. Not sure ice climbing is something she would do again. The instructor encouraged her to do a second climb.that day but I think she was just too tired to consider it...perhaps on another visit.

Comments:  He was amazing! Knew a lot about what he was doing, was very friendly and was great for both beginners and more experienced climbers. He knew about the facilities in the area and a lot about the sport in general.
